Harden checked out tonight. I posted a bunch last time we played him about how much I hated him after watching him shoot 21 free throws. Tonight he shot 5. He didn't put any effort into the fourth quarter either. It doesn't matter how hot Corey Brewer gets, you still go back to Harden. But he checked out. He did this last year in the playoffs too.

I don't like Pau Gasol. He's a whiny little [expletive]. He just got thrown into the 4th row because he's so weak and all he could do was scream at the ref instead of trying to regain position, while the Hornets put up shot after shot after shot because the Bulls can't rebound because Gasol is getting pushed around like the class nerd and crying to the teacher about it. He's a soft little baby and I don't like him as a player. I wish he was on another team.

There, I said it. I feel better now.

edit - Pau just got called for a foul. Frustration foul. He clearly shoved the guy with all his might, but it was a tough call for the official because the guy didn't even move. Actually Pau recoiled from it. Hope he didn't hurt himself shoving that guy.

You guys see more of Andre Drummond than I do, but man I like him. Get him a couple summers with Hakeem or something, because he needs a little work on offense, but he's a monster. Remember that time the Blazers drafted Meyers Leonard (who's coming on a bit, though as the biggest, slowest small forward in the game) instead of him (at least it was rumored at the time)? I love Rolo and everything, but man an Aldridge/Drummond frontcourt would be hot.

Leonard has a pretty shot. Maybe he will become a three point specialist.

He's going to be a 50/40/90 guy for the season, which is excellent. But his shot takes comically long to get off. There's a weird deliberation in the way he plays. I genuinely like him and his development, but he plays like a dorky dad dancing.

Fun atmosphere in Oakland last night. Too bad ATL couldn't have made a better game of it.

There hasn't been a ton of reasons to watch recent Bulls games, but the fruition of Niko Mirotic as a totally weird, great player has been really fun to watch.
