One other thing.....I think the type of passing play the Seahawks ran at the end was bad. If they ran a traditional goal line set with 2 or 3 tight ends, they could have created the illuision of a run with a play action pass, and throw the ball to a tight end.

But the Seahawks somewhat telegraphed a pass by having 3 receivers in the game. That's on the coaching staff.

They left 3 receivers in the game bc the Pats went with their goal line stand D.

And then the Pats countered and put in 3 DBs. It's not like the WRs were matched up against linebackers.

the problem with those quick inside routes without a QB read on the goal line - there's lots of traffic. It appears that it was set up with that guy as the target, no chance to assess & throw it away. most the time they easily cut off the DB with crossing route, but there's always the risk that someone gums up the works. that first pick on Brady in the endzone -similar. Rams did something similar to lose against SD this year.

That Nissan ad with Cat's in the Cradle would have been way better if it had been for condoms.

Generally speaking, I thought it was a good year for ads because I actually liked a few. That's rarely true.
