I agree with Ohio st in the final four but it should be Ohio st vs Oregon in the rose bowl. No one uses common sense any more

We get a playoff and it's still all about the money. No [expletive] way should TCU and Baylor both get passed over.

It's hard to make an argument for TCU based on the whole body of work. They have a 'great' loss, but their best wins are lacking compared to OSU and Baylor. OSU v. Baylor is really, really hard. I don't think you can really be wrong either way if you have to pick one, and for as much as I loathe Florida State and think the ACC is a joke, I do think you have to pick one since Bama, Oregon, and FSU are above them.

I'm OK with Ohio State over TCU/Baylor because of yesterday's absolute domination.

Dang, I was really hoping that the Big 12 would have reversed its method of determining a conf. champ solely for the purpose of getting a team into the playoff. Oh well. As is, I'll say the same thing I always said about the Big 10 before they did it, get 12 teams you dip [expletive] so you can have a legit conf. title game and not put your teams (like TCU and Baylor) at a disadvantage by playing less games and robbing them of a chance to win a big game at the end of the season. I like TCU/Baylor both a ton more than tOSU, but this is the Big 12's fault for being stupid.

when I walked into bar, and saw OSU was up 45-0 over WI, I thought might be mistaken/drinking too much.

how the [expletive] does #3 TCU drop 3 spots after winning big in their last game.

Don't want them in the top 4? don't rank them in the top 4 in the first place.

just cut the bs and make it an 8 or 10 playoff already.

For whatever it's worth, Ohio St. is #2 in Bill Connelly's S&P. TCU is #10 and Baylor #8. Florida St. is really the odd man out there, coming in at #15. But there's no way you can leave them out of this (nor would I want that to happen).

You can say that Baylor's win over K-State is a wash with Ohio State's win over Michigan St., but Baylor has nothing as impressive as what Ohio St. did to Wisconsin last night. The closest they have is the TCU win, which took a 4th quarter comeback and they won by a field goal.

There's always going to be a team left out though. If u make it 8, who is the 8th team in? Its tough to make the case either tcu or Baylor are the best team in the nation...which is what the playoff is getting at.

Although I will admit there is a certain lure to having s setup w her all 5 power conferences get to send their respective champs and then have 3 wild cards.
