Have you ever felt like the Transportation Security Agency is both 1) kind of fascist and 2) mind-bendingly stupid?

Well, if so, you will not be surprised by the news that the TSA is saying that people can't bring unpowered electronic devices on board a plane. So if you get to the security checkpoint, and your phone is dead, you're screwed.

Why wouldn't they just keep a phone charger around in case someone has a dead phone with no way to power it? Unlikely, sure, but they're dealing with millions of people; surely it will happen to someone.

North Korea has asked China to stop the spread of a video clip lampooning leader Kim Jong-un.

According to a source in China on Tuesday, the North feels the clip, which shows Kim dancing and Kung-Fu fighting, "seriously compromises Kim's dignity and authority."

Beijng was unable to oblige.
