I especially love this one. I get that comment a good deal (go figure), but especially from Mr. Planet's family. Everyone always assumes I'm the reason for the cats, but Mr. Planet was the softie who pulled the trigger on the last two. Really, what married couple has the female adding pets indiscriminately to their household without the consent of the other party? Major cliche.Radbird wrote:7 Comments That Make Cat Owners Cringe
I like dogs better. They’re friendlier.
I can tell you have cats.
You’re on your way to becoming a crazy cat lady!
You should keep your cats off the counters.
I could never have a cat. I’m allergic to them!
Do cats ever do anything but lie around?
What are you going to do with the cat when the baby comes?

Re: Cats
There are two neighborhood cats that like to fight/have an orgy outside my bedroom window at 4 AM. No tags, but I'm sure they're owned by peeps in the neighborhood. Any suggestions?

Re: Cats
Have them trapped & spayed/neutered. If they belong to someone, too bad.

Re: Cats
Because it's a cop out. We have 4 and I'm allergic to cats. I'm not saying everyone should go to the lengths I do to be comfortable around our cats but there are ways to coexist w/an allergy. If you don't want a cat just say so, don't use "I'm allergic" as an excuse.cardinalkarp wrote:Why would this make cat owners cringe?I could never have a cat. I’m allergic to them!

Yeah, being allergic to cats as a reason not to own one is a cop out....suuuurrre.
Glad you've decided to cope with being allergic to them & own them at the same time....but I'd rather not cope w/ itching my eyes until they swell shut & then have to cope w/ not being able to breathe because my allergy to cats severely effects my asthma.
But you know, that's just a cop out.

Advair twice a day. Like I said, not everyone is willing to go to the lengths I am.cardinalkarp wrote:Yeah, being allergic to cats as a reason not to own one is a cop out....suuuurrre.![]()
