Yeah he did, the paddle save was ridiculous. Steen was robbed of a goal as well, it worked out in the end.

I'm afraid our lack of offense could hurt us from making a run in the playoffs. I realize we are near the top in goals scored, but our offense has really gone in the pooper in the second half.

Would be nice to see Tarasenko get back to being a force.

Tarasenk - Schwartz - Berglund led the NHL in points last week with 12 points as a line. It hasn't looked beautiful since the break, but we haven't really had an easy game since coming back either. Canucks (pre-meltdown) - Ducks - Coyotes - Lightning - Predators - Avalanche - Wild - Stars. Except the Canucks, all playoff teams, and we went 5-2-1.

The two he gave up in regulation were kinda weak though.

We've scored 2 goals per game in those 8 games since the break. Over the course of the season they have scored 3.27 goals/game, but over the past 22 games they've only scored 2.18 goals/game. That probably won't cut it in the playoffs.

BTW the Canucks lost 7 in a row before we played them, then 4 in a row after they beat us, so I'd say we were right in the middle of the meltdown.

I'll take 5-2-1 for us having a meltdown.

Obviously we aren't in a meltdown, just saying as a team who has failed to score goals in the playoffs the past couple years, this significant decrease in goals late in the year is a little worrisome.

The last time the St Louis Blues scored 6 Goals or more 9 times in a season before this year was 1992-93 (12).
