When taking the blue line out to O'Hare (Kennedy I-90) I've seen some drivers doing the craziest things. If the traffic is moving the same speed as the train you will see drivers playing with their genitals, putting on make-up, eating bowls of cereal, doing homework, scratching their ass and then picking their nose, throwing out full bags of trash etc.

I've personally seen each one of the above.

Apparently they pulled him out of the car and beat him up in front of his wife and child.

he wasn't charged? Crazy. I guess they must think he was under imminent threat immediately following the initial accident?

I don't think anyone involved handled that situation particularly well. The bikers were being dicks and most likely caused the initial accident, but I don't think he should have tried to kill someone with his vehicle in response.

Once he got out of the pileup he probably should have called the cops and drove slowly until they could get involved, rather than trying to outrun them and getting caught in traffic.
