They meowed at me more than usual all of yesterday, but that was about it.JackofDiamonds wrote:Haha, thanks Mary. Well, 2 days may not have been enough, they seemed rather nonchalant about the whole thing.

Re: Cats
When we'd go out of town for an extended period of time, our cat would greet us at the door then walk around for the next couple of days meowing.
We assumed it was because it was confused and had prolly been doing this the entire time we were gone and didn't know how to break the habit.
Cats are so stupid sometimes.

Re: Cats
ive got a rant with my two cats....they are ruining my place. luckily i own crap so its not a huge deal.
i have this old crappy padded chair from a law firm my mom bought on the cheap and i use that when im gaming but the cats love it and the big one puked on it the other day and when cleaning it the cleaner stained it so this huge blotch on it...i suppose thats partly my fault as i should have tested the area before going all in but maybe if he doesn't puke on it i dont have to deal with it
i also bought a faux leather chair from target...that was punctured with holes within hours of buying it so its now defaced and sitting in a corner with a sheet over it.
now what are they doing is tearing the wallpaper off in my kitchen. tahts where the food is and i leave the door open so they can access it but they find it more fun to poke holes in the walls and then start tearing the wallpaper down. [expletive] bastards.
i have claw trimmers and the powder you use to stop the bleeding if you cut too deep but ive always been paranoid to try it as ive never trimmed animal claws...but im starting to get over that possible fear and chop those bastards off
most of my furniture is kinda crappy so i dont mind too much, but at the same time it makes me not even want to buy any type of new furniture (or even used from a garage sale)...the apartment however, is badass and i obviously dont own it...i suppose it'll just come out of my deposit but still, they dont *have* to destroy it either....i love 'em but god damn they can really piss me off

You could make them outside cats and they wouldn't [expletive] [expletive] up.

Re: Cats
I use this when Sidney and Erik puke on something:

They've ripped up the back of my computer chair as well. I don't cut their claws so that's my fault as well. I bought a cat scratcher for them, but only Sidney seems to use it.
