How was what I said even remotely comparable to what Parker said? Parker was talking about race. Rather or not RGIII was black enough or white enough or black or white or whatever never even crossed my mind.

I am even more confused now.

True, but one was hurt and one wasn't.

Anywhere from 6-12 month time frame for return.

I guess it is possible he could play next year. I wouldn't bet on it and I certainly don't think its wise to put him on an accelerated schedule to try to prepare for it.

Wisdom shouldn't be a consideration, obviously. The Skins don't roll like that.

Pretty good article, but this guy likes to exaggerate. I don't think the pain is as bad as he makes it out to be. At least speaking for what I went through which was a torn ACL and meniscus, it wasn't painful. It's comparing apples to oranges, but I'd rather go through the physical pain of tearing an ACL, dealing with the swelling, surgery* and post-surgery pain in a week than have a sinus infection for a week.

Still, the guy seems pretty impressive. Former NFL player. Ortho surgeon. RGIII's first surgeon.

*The worst part of the surgery was waking up to a charlie horse with my leg locked in a brace and unable to move. So, that was by far the most severe pain involved (ever in my life)....a charlie horse. That's not even part of the process. But, if you include it, I'd chose the sinus infection.

This may be my favorite football weekend of the year. 4 decent matchups. 6 -7 hours of football each day.

and it's cold enough to keep the beer right outside on the deck.
