I've had friends request specific brews that I've made because they've enjoyed them. I'm the opposite of Jim's brother, where I [expletive] and moan about the faults in my beer and my friends drink it happily over anything else in the fridge.

Invest in a decent brew kit, find a local brewstore, and try 5 batches before you quit.
There's a cool little brew store just up the street from me who got me thinking about it again. They do a lot of brewing in the store and have a free class once a month or so. I'd buy stuff from them if I did it, not a Mr. Beer.

It just seems like a good way to learn a little more about beer and the flavors in it.

If you invite me over for a cookout this summer, which you really should, please have a generous supply of Schlafly products on hand. You drink your crap, I'll drink the Schlafly.

If I do get around to brewing I'm going to bottle it in Schlafly bottles and toss it right in the same cooler.

It's going to be trickier getting my [expletive] homebrew into your Stag cans.

Left Hand Brewing makes a milk stout that really is delicious. Give it a try sometime.

Had an Irish Extra Stout at Schlafly Bottleworks yesterday. Getting myself in the mood for Ireland.

What did you drink when you went to the Emerald Isle?
