Also, in case you all weren't aware: this run was, to be certain...written in the stars.

Probably just jealous.JunkBondTrader wrote:probably posted but
@JeffPassan The oddest scene by far tonight: Pat Burrell traipsing around the field and clubhouse. Said one Cardinal: "What the hell is he doing here?"

Someone needs to photoshop David Freese holding a "Rangers defeat Cardinals" newspaper.obucard wrote:

Freese deserves the MVP, but Craig had on heck of a World Series.

Yep. They each single-handedly won one game (Craig game 1, Freese game 6) and then paired up for game 7. I figured it had to be Freese but honestly wondered if Craig might get it.Leroy wrote:Freese deserves the MVP, but Craig had on heck of a World Series.

Yadi also was MVP caliber, with his leading in RBI's and nailing a few runners with his arm.JL21 wrote:Yep. Yeah, Craig also had the big hit in game two, Motte just wasn't able to close it out. He put the birds within 2 in game six after coming into the game. Then he had the go ahead run in game seven. If we don't score any more runs the rest of Game 7 and Craig robs that HR/ball off the top of the wall, he might have beaten out Freese.
Berkman had a great all around WS too. And Carp started 43% of the games.
