Average rebounding and average scoring by Wade and LeBron and the Heat win game 1 by 10.

Just gonna be a hell of a series.
There's a tangible reason for the Bulls rebounding advantage. There's a tangible reason for some of Derrick's issues last night, but he missed a ton of open shots he typically doesn't. No reason for the FT's. But yes, this series is going 6 or 7.

The first two games have left me confident. I just think the Bulls are the better team, and like thrill said if they shoot reasonably well at all then win the game. It's going to be a good series, I say 7 games, but I think the Bulls win this thing.

As incredible as Derrick Rose is, it would drive me nuts as a Bulls fan to see him repeatedly put himself in a position where he has no options. Obviously, he is an incredibly talented basketball player but I just don't understand what's in his head when he does that.

He doesn't have any options, he tries to force the issue and it can be spectacular when he's on or feel like you're beating your head against a brick wall when he's not. Derrick is one of the ultimate live by the sword, die by the sword players. The same things that make him incredible can also lose you a game.

If he had someone like Kevin Durant on his team and he did this stuff, everyone would be killing him like Westbrook. Unfortunately, he doesn't have that guy.

He reminds me of Barry Sanders.

I've never seen a guy put up as many shots that have 0% chance of going in.

That's definitely Rose's dark side. He looks like some caveman in Quest for Fire sometimes. I think he'll outgrow it.

The Bulls struggled against athletic big men all season. If Haslem's foot is OK, he's going to give them fits.

Conversation with Sam Smith today ... summarizing:

jim: We look like the better team.
sam: We are.

jim: Just need to shoot better.
sam: Yeah, but they made it harder for us. Played better d.

jim: What is the deal with Korver.
sam: Has to play with other shooters, They are leaving guys like Noah unguarded to double him and meeting him at his spots. He's deadly in space, not getting it. Need to put him out with other scorers, but who? Thibs trying to find the right combo.

jim: How about Taj?
sam: Great series, but the downside is that keeps boozy on the bench.

jim: And that's bad?
sam: Well yeah, theoretically he's a scorer.

jim: This team is so fun, I've enjoyed this team about as much as any in sports.
sam: Intangibles - they play well together and have chemistry. That's what has pushed them to this level. Nobody would have guessed this at the start.

jim: Prediction?
sam: Bulls in 7.

So why not get the ball to Noah inside when they double Korver and create mis-matches that way? Maybe the game isn't that simple.......

They seem to play well together defensively, but offensively it's pretty much Rose or bust. In fact, this team (as much as I like them and dislike Lebron) kinda reminds me of the Lebron Cavalier teams. I wish there were other scoring options on the team. Boozer just isn't a good fit, but they're stuck with him.

Because Noah is terrible.
