Not that foul, but I was wishing Portland would give him a good, hard-but-not-flagrant foul in the paint. He has no business in there; the kind of foul that would send Wade or Rose to the line, but would send Barea to the seventh row.lukethedrifter wrote:I'm expecting Saigon to defend Artest.

Derrick Rose was absolutely insane tonight. The legend continues to grow, and the guy is only 22.
The Artest suspension was complete b.x.

I disagree. I really like Artest - not so much for his on-and-off skills, but since he's tried so hard to get away from his temperamental early days. But that play was just terrible. He wasn't trying to hurt Barea, but he absolutely wanted to hit the guy. Artest's face as he saw his ejection told it all. He wasn't surprised in the least. In his earlier days, he would have flipped out and made it worse. Now, he made a stupid, reactionary play, immediately realized it was a stupid play, saw his ejection, and left the court quietly.jim wrote:Derrick Rose was absolutely insane tonight. Some people were calling for more than a game, which would have been silly. One game was right.

Re: NBA 10-11
I actually disagree with the suspension at all, and I'm no Lakers fan. At the time, I was maddened by what he did, but in looking at the replays...yeah, he hit the guy in the head, but the guy he hit is shorter than me (and I'm pretty short), so where else could he hit him. He did try to make sure he didn't fall. On the other hand, if I remember right, the game was obviously over so that makes it a cheap shot.
